Docked at Seattle’s scenic waterfront, the Queen Elizabeth makes a regal impression against the Pacific Northwest backdrop. As a member of the Vista class, this ship is a tribute to the "Golden Age" of ocean travel—evoking the elegance of the 1930s with its Art Deco interiors and striking black hull. With 12 passenger decks and a capacity for 2,081 guests, the ship feels intimate yet grand, boasting a royal connection unmatched by any other line; its godmother was none other than Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who named the ship in 2010.
Our tour took us through the sophisticated heart of the vessel, starting with the Grand Lobby, a stunning three-story atrium featuring a marquetry panel of the original Queen Elizabeth liner. We explored the unique Games Deck where guests can play croquet and bowls under the open sky, peeked into the famous two-story Library with its iconic wooden spiral staircase, and admired the Queens Room, the largest ballroom at sea. To top off the experience, we watched part of a show in the ship's theatre and enjoyed a delicious lunch at the elegant Britannia Restaurant. Whether you're a fan of maritime tradition or just looking for a refined escape, the Queen Elizabeth offers a timeless glimpse into the art of cruising.
