A year of memorable firsts continued with a journey close to our hearts: our daughter's first trip to China. At just ten months old, we embarked on a special adventure to introduce our little one to her roots, her heritage, and a world of new wonders. This trip was a beautiful blend of experiences, from the dazzling heights and vibrant energy of Hong Kong to the rich history and artistic soul of Jingdezhen, the Ceramic Capital.
Seeing her homeland for the first time through her curious eyes was profoundly moving. It was the first time she was surrounded by the sounds and sights of a place so significant to our family, her first taste of new flavors, and, most importantly, her first time meeting her loving grandparents, a long-awaited family reunion. We witnessed a a world of new wonders, and our first time sharing these precious moments of connection and discovery with her in China. This gallery is dedicated to the moments that marked her first encounter with a land of a thousand stories and the warm embraces of family.
👀 While these photos capture her personal journey, you can see the stunning cityscapes, the ancient kilns, our travel tips, and the full story of our adventure in the complete post Glimpses of China: Hong Kong Hustle & Jingdezhen Charm.
