Some trips demand the full treatment — multi-chapter itineraries, obsessive route planning, a camera bag that makes airline staff visibly nervous. Others are born on a Friday afternoon from a half-formed idea and a full tank of gas.
Both kinds deserve to be told.
This is where I document them: the long hauls and the long weekends, the bucket-list destinations and the backroad discoveries. Part travelogue, part photo essay, part ongoing argument with myself about what 'travel' even means when real life keeps showing up uninvited.
I've split things into two collections: Epics goes deep — comprehensive accounts and photo essays from the bigger trips, the ones that take months to plan and weeks to recover from. Detours keeps it light — highlights and visual stories from weekend escapes and shorter excursions, where the whole point is that you didn't overthink it.
